Match Length

All matches will be best 2 of 3 games to 25 with the deciding game, if necessary, to 15. There is no cap!

Age Divisions

18's & 17's Teams , 16's & 15's Teams, 14's & 13's teams, and 12's Teams
**Divisions must have at least 8 teams entered or Power & Club may be combined.

Division Formats

All divisions will have formats designed to guarantee each team at least 5 matches in each division. One or Two wave format depending on number of entries. Some divisions maybe combined at the Tournaments  discretion.

Player Forms

Tournament is JVA Insured, Coaches must have in their possession the following two forms for each player:

(1) JVA Participant Release and Liability 

(2) Medical Release/Waiver Form**

The forms do not need to be turned in, so no additional copies are needed. The Coach will only need to turn the signed JVA Coaches Event Sign-In Form at Team Check-In. ** If you already have a USAV Medical Release Form for your players, you do not need the JVA Medical Release/Waiver Form.

$450 for all Divisions

Everyone can attend JVA, AAU and USAV



Room for 64 teams. Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis based on entry fee post-mark.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds after teams are accepted in event unless under our Cover related refund policy.

There will NOT be a coaches meeting on Friday night. However, COACHES OR CLUB DIRECTORS MUST check in their teams (consists of signing the roster, picking up coaching credential pass(es), and playing schedule/tournament procedures) at the playing venue.

We are happy to announce that we have rescheduled our SoulTown Showdown in Macon, GA for May 9-10, 2020.

The complete schedule for the entire weekend and seeding will be posted to the by 8pm on Wednesday the week of the event, will be updated if any teams add or drop, so check the web site regularly that week.

Paid 1st official provided for all matches, paid 2nd official for all Gold Division Final Matches.

There will be a trainer available to tape ankles and assist with minor injuries as well as serve as a first responder to more serious injuries. PLEASE provide your own wrapping supplies.

Host Hotel & Stay, Play, and Save Policy

All teams participating in this event receive SIGNIFICANT savings if they stay in our Host Hotels.

Friday, May 4th  from 6-8:30pm at the Macon Marriott City Center at the tournament desk.

Saturday, March 5th  starting at  7:15am-1:30pm outside the venue where admission is sold.

This year's event will have an admissions fee for spectators of  $20 for a tournament pass. Children 2 and under are FREE!

**Tournament wristbands will be available beginning Friday Night from 6-8:30pm at the Macon Convention Center.

Athletes will just need to show their jersey to gain admission to the Hall.

Teams will be issued a coaching credential pass for each ADULT they have listed on their roster in AES.

Spectators will be able to purchase a colored wristband at the door each day, beginning at 7am, that will gain them admission to the playing venue.

Facility Rules

There will be a NO TOLERANCE policy for misbehavior by players/teams and spectators in the venues.

Ball Handling is NOT allowed outside of the exhibit halls in the convention center.

Coolers and outside food and drink are NOT ALLOWED in the convention center. Only water and sports drinks may be brought inside the facility.

Violation of these policies or any other general misbehavior may result in IMMEDIATE dismissal from the facility for the remainder of the day.
